Fortina already had a huge following when they joined the Harbor Point community. This is Fortina’s 3rd restaurant success, having developed a loyal customer base with their other locations in Westchester County NY. Partners John Nealon, Rob Krauss and Chef Christian Petroni have a unique style in creating a fun atmosphere with great food.
Their recipe for success is fresh ingredients, straightforward Italian cooking in wood fired ovens with a swift and efficient staff.
Fortina’s crowd is a healthy mix of newbies and loyal patrons. On any given night you’ll see a variety of young patrons grabbing pizza and craft beer, to parents with school-age children having family dinner, to groups of men and women enjoying a night out.
The space is grand, with 28-foot ceilings, a lively rooftop bar, cool industrial lighting, tables and booths, and a large L-shaped bar. Subway tile and stacked tomato cans remain a signature look to their clean open space restaurant, of course.
