In the Fall of 2017, the Iconic Walter’s Hot Dogs, the Mamaroneck institution, opened an outpost right here in Stamford! Word spread like wildfire and so did our blog post! We could tell that you were excited!
While the iconic eatery closed their doors for the bulk of the winter, the team will re-open for the seaon in Harbor Point’s Commons Park (200 Commons Park South) beginning TOMORROW (March 3)!
Walter’s opened in Mamaroneck in 1919 as a hot dog stand that was transformed into a Chinese-style pagoda in 1928. It is now a nationally registered historic landmark. Which means it’s been almost a century that this family-owned business has been cooking-up their own recipe of hot dogs (veal, beef, and pork blend).
The Stamford location will be open 7-days a week from 11am – 6:30pm. Not able to make it? Find them on UBEReats and GrubHub as well.
